Suggest Medication For Arthritis

I have arthritis in my right hip, the onset was about 5 months ago, my doctor has prescribed Ibuprofen 800 mg that help but do not totally relieve the pain. The doctor says that the arthritis is moderate at this point but will eventually will get worse over time. Any other suggestions?
