General & Family Physician 's  Response
Welcome to healthcaremagic,
The treatment response in case of acne differs from patient to patient and I advise you to visit a dermatologist as he can evaluate you and give appropriate cream.
The usual treatment for acne includes:
1. Topical retinoids with an antibiotic like erythromycin or doxycyclin or clindamycin - You should continue with the treatment given to you.
2. Use of moisturizer such as Aloe vera gel
3. Keep you face clean so as to avoid dirt and grease.
You need to take the treatment for at least 8 weeks to get improvement. Many need treatment for a few months.
Hope that answers your question,
Regards, Dr.Imaad.
