Suggest medication for a runny nose

I have had a very runny nose (clear, thin liquid) and terrible burning eyes for several months now. Have tried several different antihistamines, no luck. Just finished 5 days of 500 mg Azithromycin, no change. Runny nose especially bad when I m eating. This is driving me crazy! Any thoughts?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

The symptoms seem to be related to an allergy. I recommend to use an antihistamine such as Cetirizine 10 mg in the evening. I also suggest using artificial tears to relieve the burning of the eyes.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Dorina Gurabardhi, General & Family Physician
