Suggest Medication For A Colic Baby

My name is dr.kiran I'm a doctor in Lahore Pakistan if had my first baby boy via a Caesarian section 3 months back on the 29th of October 2013.hes a colic baby since 8 days of age n weeps n weeps all day n alnight n is also constipated.iv tried infacol drops,zee gut drops,flatulex drops all of them but of no use.even gripe water doesn't effect. He weeps n weeps all the time.hes on formula feed lactogen 1.please tell me what to do I'm really really upset

Hai... This is Dr.Sumanth from India. First thing I want to assure you that nothing serious is going on in the baby. The most common reason for this colic is swallowed air which distends bowels. Sometimes some babies drink eagerly causing air to be gulped in...especially more so in bottle feeding. The air thus gone in has to come out either as belching or as flatus. The best way to prevent this is by burping him post feeds. Happy to help anytime. If you are happy with my reply, kindly rate it.
