Understanding your concern. As per your query you have severe bump on the calf muscle . Well the symptoms you mention in query can occur due to may reasons like anterior cruciate ligament injury ,torn meniscus , knee bursitis , sciatica , DVT and rheumatoid arthritis . I would suggest you to consult orthopedic surgeon for proper diagnosis . Doctor may order X-ray , CT scans or MRI . Doctor may recommend muscle strengthening exercises along with injection of a corticosteroid drug , orthodox MR and surgery like arthroscopic surgery in severe damage . For now apply warm compresses to lump on calf muscle , do not massage or scratch , take proper rest , take ibuprofen or acetaminophen for pain, continue Trinerve Lc and elevate your legs while lying down . Doctor may also recommend physical therapy .
Hope your concern has been resolved.
