Suggest me diet or exercise to lower high BP

When you re nervous does your blood pressure increase? I am really anxious and stressed. Any relaxation methods, or is it lack of exercise? thank you, also what foods cause High Blood pressure, because maybe I am eating wrong. Please help

Try to relax, take a few deep breathes and just relax. Some people naturally have blood high pressure, it's genetic and there is nothing you can do about it. Try to develop a workout routine, jogging and or walking is a good way to start. If you can, join a gym or YMCA. But the best advice is to go to your doctor and they may ask about your family history, your grandparents and your parents history is usually what they want to know. Ask your parents if you don't know. The doctor may help set up a exercise routine for you and or prescript medication for you. They might explain a healthy meal routine for you to follow.

I was diagnosed with high blood pressure last year after i pushed myself too hard physically, and i ve since been able to come off my meds by dieting and exercising. But i recently did an exercise that was too tough because i thought i could handle it, and the whole day after i felt unusually groggy and my systolic number was about 10 points below normal. Now that i ve recovered somewhat, my resting blood pressure is normal but it goes a bit higher than it should when i m excited or active, sometimes causing loud ringing of the ears or other symptoms. I try light exercises throughout the day but it seems like my heart is getting worn out easily, where i will get a heart rate in the 50 s sometimes or my systolic number will drop to below 110 and then my pr and bp fluxuate a bit higher throughout the day when i become active. I want to know if maybe you had some idea of what could be wrong or how to know when my exercise is too much because in contrast to exercising a fair bit before, now it mainly consists of just my daily activities and if the bar s been lowered that much i m just done. 20 year old male, scared that his new life is already over. 3 months til cardiologist apointment, primary doctor doesnt seem very concerned with my problems. My bp has spiked up during Christmas holidays. It s usually 138 /70 or somewhere close to it. I have been eating bacon and ham and food Innormally doesn t eat. Now my bp is 166 /92 range dor the last 3 or 4 days. Last year it did this and doctor told me to get n back to my normal diet of fruits vegetables and walking. After it went back down and stay in the 130 /70 range. Should I start on medication or try dieting and exercise again. I have been dieting and exercises the last 3 days and it s still 160 / 92
