Suggest iron supplements for low Hb levels during pregnancy

Sgtt test came back as 8.4 a month ago and haemoglobin was 9.5. I am now 31 weeks and I have to retake them before month end. What iron suppliments to take to increase this and should I cut out all sweets (mangoes, plaintain, bananas). Also, would an increase in water help flush out these sweets?
