Suggest If My Diabetic Medicines And Dosage Are Correct

I am 43 yrs & diabetic since last 10 years currently taking 1.2 units of Victoria along with glycomet gp2 forte in morning and glycomet gp2 forte along with 36 units of lantus in evening and still the blood sugar is un controlled. Hba1c is 9.2. Please suggest

Dear madam i can understand your concern.in my opinion you may need to increase the dose of lantus by 3 units untill your fasting sugars comes below 120mg/dl or 6.6mmol/l

kindly let me know your height weight and age,for fixing your insulin dose.


In my opinion there will only little role for victoza after 10 yrs of diabetes
because most of beta cells might got exhausted.
so my suggestion is to change victoza with novorapid to be taken twice to thrice daily

pls follow diet and exercise they are very important.
