General & Family Physician 's  Response
HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

It may be best to see your doctor about the numbness .

Trauma is one of the cause of numbness but the other causes are : (1)vitamin b12 or folate def
(2)diabetes
(3)liver or kidney disease
(4)neurological diseases such as stroke or MS
(5)exposure to toxins
(6)some hormonal diseases

You may want to consider visiting your doctor for an assessment so that the exact cause can be determined.

I hope this helps
