The gas and abdominal bloating during pregnancy is due to a hormonal effect and usually is only completely relieved either as the pregnancy progresses or by the end of the pregnancy. But in the meantime, all you can do is drink plenty of fluids, avoid carbonated drinks, avoid food that can increase gas production like lentils, broccoli, radish, fruits like bananas, apricots, and so on.
