Hi, I am 8 month(appr) pregnant and my due date is 17th aug. I want to have a normal delievery and for that I want to know if I have to do some excersice or some breathing practice. Please give me some tips to cope up with labor pain. what is the correct time to go to hospital once the pain starts(should I wait till the discharge starts). As if now I dont have any sugar or BP problem. My whole pregnancy period went fine without any trouble. Please advice.
Hello dear,i understand your concern. In my opinion following certain things might help in normal vaginal delivery like practising antenatal yoga especially of 3rd trimester ,daily walking about 30 minutes, doing pelvic floor exercises called keigels exercises etc.As you have no complications there will be much scope for normal vaginal delivery provided your pelvis is adequate for your baby. After 36 weeks you need to visit your doctor once weekly.Observe your fetal movements. If there is any leaking or bleeding or any onset of pains you need to visit doctor. You need not wait till any discharge.Avoid stress and lying down on left or right side is preferrable.Hope this helps. Best regards...Dr.Srilatha
