Hello thanks for asking from HCM

You have anxiety and depression and are taking Quetiapine and Diazepam for that. You were tolerating the 50 mg doses without any serious side effects but recently your doses of quetiapine has been increased to 100 mg per night. Now you have terrible night mares and headaches in morning. Diazepam is a benzodiazepine drug and it is known to increase REM sleep which may result in increased night mares and headaches in morning. Taking the quetiapine with diazepam has resulted in severe sedation and this is the reason for your increase in nightmares. Doses of 20 mg are high for you and as per my opinion these doses of diazepam should be reduced and this will improve your symptoms.
Consult your psychiatrist for any dose change.

Thanks.
