Hello
Poison IVY usually causes allergic contact dermatitis ( ACD).
Usually , treatment with high-potency fluorinated topical glucocorticoids is enough to relieve symptoms while the ACD runs its course.
For you as you require systemic therapy dosage area:
Daily oral PREDNISOLONE beginning at 1mg/kg body weight , but usually not exceeding 60 mg/day, is sufficient.
It should tapered over 2 to 3 weeks , and each daily dose given in the morning with the food .
Antihistamine , the best for you is montelukast+fexofenadine (10+120 mg ) once in the night.
Hope this will help you.
