General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Zoladex is a manmade version of a natural hormone that controls how your ovaries work. Its general name is goserelin. It is usually given for between 2 and 5 years. If you have secondary breast cancer, you will be given Zoladex for as long as it keeps cancer under control.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Prabhash Verma,
