Suggest Dosage For Prozac

Dr. I have been taken Prozac for over 6 years, my family Dr has asked to take one a day 40mg. But, my piquiatria has asked to take two a day in the morning. In either case, I have dreams (nightmares) at night and I get at nights and have headaches, this is happening for 6 months. I just can t take it anymore, and even I m afraid to go to sleep, the next day I am tired and very concern. What should I do?

HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

It would be best to consider going with the dose recommended by your psychiatrist or if you feel the medication is not helping you then you should speak to your psychiatrist to get an alternative.

He or she may also be able to counsel and help you with the nightmares that you are having.
Cognitive behavioral therapy addresses any ideas/opinions/beliefs or perceptions that are affecting your behavior or life can be looked at and solutions given.

I hope this helps
