Suggest Dosage For Primolut N

Hi doctor, I had my periods in the last month on 21st but this month I would like to prepone it for 4 days that means I would like to have it on 18th on this month. So please suggest how to use and when to start primolut n 5 mg medicine ? Please let me know dosage as well to use the medicine .

Hello,

Incomplete data like how many days do you have normal period, have you taken Primolut-N drug earlier, any co-existing medical illness.

To prepone the periods, you need to start taking Primolut N drug twice daily at least for 10 days before the expected date of periods.

Continue taking it for 5 days and then stop it. You will then get your periods after 3 days of stopping the pills. The preponed cycle will then continue in the next month.

However, if you do not have time then it's better to postpone period. Take same dosage for 3 to 4 days before expected period and also continue till you do not want period.
