Hello Meftal-P is mefenamic acid and its dosage are as: > 6 months 25 mg / kg body weight in two or three divided dosage. Since your kid is having fever with vomiting and loose motion with fever. There are so many possibilities of fever as most common is flu or common cold . When such patient visit my clinic I first of all give one tablet of ondansetrone ( mouth dissolving ) 4 mg ( but dose is 0.8 mg / kg ) . After 1 hour of ondansetrone meftal-p will adjust . If vomiting and loose motion continue ( > 4-5 motion with episode of vomiting then consult a Paediatrician and get his opinion regarding dehydration due to fever, vomiting and loose motion. Good luck.
