Suggest Diet That Should Be Followed While Having High Triglycerides

triglicerin (wrong spelling) but it is basically fat in the blood.could you give me basic heads up on what i should and should not eat and drink. just been told mine is 14.2....apparently very high but i feel ok.thankyou dan

Hello. Welcome to HCM.
I have read your question and understand your concerns.
High triglycerides are bad for heart in Longterm. So try to bring it down first with diet and then if necessary with drugs.

Diet you should avoid is excessive oily, fatty food.
Sunflower or olive oil is allowed. Take more green leafy vegetables and fruits. Avoid excessive meat and egg yellow. Avoid milk products in excess like cheese, butter.

Finofibrates are the drug of choice for high triglycerides. Ask your doctor regarding this.

Do daily brisk walking for 1 hour and try to maintain your BMI.
