Hello Nishant and thanks for writing.

I can understand your concern and would try to help you in the best possible way. Your reports suggest raised triglycerides, raised uric acid levels, deranges LFTs, overweight and hypertension. All these are potential problems and need to be taken care of. These problems put you at risk of metabolic syndrome.

I need to know your complete medical history before i can start any medication. I suggest you consult a doctor immediately and undergo a complete medical evaluation and start a management plan.

Have you have checked for blood sugars and thyroid profile, if not then you may have to get it checked too. Your management plan would consist of medications and lifestyle changes, which you should follow religiously.

In the mean time you should try following advices:

1. Do not take stress, practise yoga and other techniques or stress reduction.
2. Avoid smoking and alcohol.
3. Take a low calorie, low fat diet.
4. Avoid fast foods and soda beverages.
5. Start a regular activity programme like walking, jogging, gymming or swimming.
6. Keep a target weight and work towards achieving it. Reduce your weight by 2 KG per month at least.
