Suggest diet plan for weight loss

Thanks, I am trying to jump start my weight loss. I have done weight watchers in the past and it has worked well for me, it seems pretty balanced. I thought I would try a low carb diet for a week or two to get some initial weight loss and encouragement that it provides. Then return to weight watchers. Maybe try low carb every couple of weeks or so. It seems like it s kind of unrealistic to stay on completely low carb in the real world. Is changing back and forth every couple of weeks still going to help with weight loss or do I need to stick with one or the other? Thanks
