Suggest Diet For Type 2 Diabetics

My daughter is 192 kilos Blood pressure 220/120 43 years of age she was told yesterday that she is now Type 2diabetic but still continues to eatall the wrong food,I have flown over from Ca to Germany to help but she does not want to change her health situation.Can you please give me some tips ?

You might find it difficult to put a full stop to junk food at one go...
so do it gradually.
FIRST STEP.
1) Stop junk food while watching tv.
2) Slowly start taking her for a walk and increase the distance gradually
3) Get her into something which interests her. so she will forget her food and get involved in what she likes.
I personally feel weight loss needs to be handle psychologically as well so don't try to be harsh.. Get back to us with how she responds
