Hi, I have gone through your query and understood your concerns.

Sir, Both the drugs are quiet effective in controlling blood sugars. You can select any one of them. You can lower cost one or of the doctor whom you would want to have as your treating doctor. In efficacy both are effective.

Coming to other measures let me congratulate first for your commitment. because exercise and proper diet is equally important in controlling diabetes.

Coming to exercise. Start slowly with walking. If you are out of shape, walk for 5 - 10 minutes. Try to set a goal of fast walking. You should do this for 30 - 45 minutes at least 5 days a week. Do more if you can. Swimming or exercise classes are also good.

Drink plenty of water. Do this before, during, and after exercising. Try to exercise at the same time of day, for the same amount of time, and at the same level. This will make your blood sugars easier to control.

Eat small and frequent meals. Avoid simple sugars and sweets. don't skip meals. Eat every 2-3 hours in small quantities rather than eating 3 large meals.Include complex carbs in every meal – whole wheat, ragi, jowar, brown rice, oats, etc.     Avoid refined cereal products like bread, noodles, polished rice, etc. as they can raise blood sugar levels.     Choose fibre-rich foods like vegetables, whole grains, etc. You should aim for 25-25g of fibre/day through diet to maintain blood glucose levels.

Hope this guides you. For any other queries you can write to us. we will be happy to help you. Thank you.
