Pancreatitis patients may be avoided animal protein in early stages of recovery. It may again trigger the problem.
Take soft diet, dense plant protein diet. Use pancreatic enzyme supplement. Also these patients prone to develop a deficiency of enzymes like vitamin E, A, D and K.
B12 and folic acid supplementation are also necessary.
These patients are also prone to develop diabetes in future so please check for blood sugar levels regularly.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
