Hi,

Welcome to HCM. I had gone through your question and understand your concerns.

Swelling in legs in diabetes can be due to many reasons. It could be due to liver or kidney disease associated with diabetes, medications for hypertension, or simply without any reason. Unrelated conditions like varicose veins or infections or thyroid disorders can also result in swelling of legs. So better consult a physician and get yourselves evaluated. Treatment depends on the cause of swelling.

Hope I have answered your question. If you have any further questions I will be happy to help.
