Suggest Cure For Sickness In The Stomach

I am a Type 2 diabetic and have been feeling nauseous along with stomach aches and several bowel movements daily. This past week I have upper back pain on left side. I take 1000mg Metformin, 100mg Invokana, 10mg Enalapril Maleate, and 1.8 mg Victoza daily. My sugars are good - around 125 in the AM. I awake feeling fine then the nausea starts 3 hours later after I ve taken all my meds. Any ideas?

Hello and thanks for writing.
I can understand your concern and will do my best to help you in the best way possible.

From your symptoms it seems that you could be having food poisoning. However other conditions like Gastroenteritis, IBS or Crohn's disease could also be considered.
I suggest you to go and see your physician who may examine and investigate you with some blood work, stool test, USG and other tests to arrive at the final diagnosis. In the mean time you can increase your fluid intake alongwith electrolytes so as to avoid dehydration. If you have any dizziness or blood in stools or falling urine output you should immediately visit nearby hospital to get checked.

Have lemon water, yoghurt or curd as much you can take.

If it persists or worsens book an appointment with an gastroenterologist for an endoscopy and a battery of tests like liver function test and an ultrasound

you can take pantoprazole or rabeprazole group of drugs with antacids.

I would like to know about your age and relevant medical history like diabetes or any risk factor for heart disease like family history or complaints of shortness of breath with palpitations or chest pains
have you taken any medicines or adulterated good
Since how long you have this problem

Waiting for your reply
wish you good health
regards
