Dermatologist 's  Response
She is suffering from stasis dermatitis. Yes she must use a moisturiser containing Liquid paraffin. She can used it once after bath and once at night. But she can use it more often also.Topical mild steroid cream like mometasone over the affected areas. She must elevate her legs as much as possible especially at night by keeping a pillow underneath. Consult your dermatologist regarding the above mentioned therapy. Regards
