Suggest Cure For Defect In The Vision

My son is 8 years old now. He had nystagmus from birth, by God's grace has improved considerably by now the opthomologist says.

He was tilting his head towards right side in the beginning which was corrected partly by patching. He has very minor power glasses. We are regularly checking his eye sight once in six months. How do we know his vision will remain the same or will there be any change. Kindly advise. Is there any test?

Worried mother.

Ophthalmologist 's  Response
Hello
Welcome to Health care Magic.

I am Dr. DADAPEER K, an Ophthalmologist and I answer health problems related to eye.

I reviewed your history. It seems from the history that your son is having defect in the vision with nystagmus.
This needs to be treated by vision, refraction and correction, correction of squint if any and correction of nystagmus by surgery.
Hence I advice you to consult your doctor for examination and treatment accordingly.

Hope the information is helpful to you.
Do write back to me for further questions.

Thank you
