Suggest Cure For Burning Sensation & Dryness In The Eyes

hi. i have a question about chemical vapor burns to the eyes.

i have been doing some work with paint remover and chlorox.

i have been wearing a respirator and goggles for protection.

Although the goggles fit tightly and cover my entire eye area, there are tiny ventilation holes on the side flaps. i did not think this was an issue as i was working outside (good ventilation).

i was also not working non-stop for hours, but i did work throughout the day for about three hours altogether.

nothing was splashed in my eyes, but several ours after i finished working i felt discomfort and burning/dryness in my eyes.

it got worse throughout the night, and i felt scared.

today the burning has continued. i bought eyedrops to ease the dryness but am afraid i have hurt my eyes. my vision is fine, and there are no blisters on my cornea, but i have that burning and i can't keep my eyes open very long and they are very sensitive.

do you think i should go to an eye doctor, or have i just irritated my eyes with the vapors and it will get better in a few days?

water should have been flashed. even now it should be done. it can be repeatedly done. if still irritation persist then you can get it examined by eye doctor. cornea should be examined. if there is serious burn injury then it can be treated as corneal ulcer. or just refresh eye tear eye drop may be applied use dark glass for few days.
