Suggest Cure For An Infection In The Ear

I've woken up for several years to my ears aching and having liquid come out out. I haven't thought anything about it but recently it's been happening almost every morning and what side of my head i sleep on depends on which ear hurts and has fluid coming out of it. I'm just trying to find out if there is a quick fix for this or if i need to go see a doctor and get medication.

Hi..
Welcome to HEALTHCARE MAGIC..

I have gone through your query and can understand your concern..

As per your complain it seems that you have a Chronic Ear Infection and as it is happening from ears it should e taken into immediate consideration and you should consult an ENT expert and get evaluated and a thorough clinical evaluation and an Otoscopy can help in diagnosis and treatment can be planned accordingly..
As the infection seems to be long standing it needed antibiotics for a longer duration as chronic ear infection can damage the ear drum and there can also be loss of hearing..
In case if infection is confirmed as the diagnosis the physician can advise you antibiotics like Augmentin or levofloxacin, steroids, anti-inflammatory medicines and nasal decongestants..
Manual drainage of the ears or syringing can also help in draining out the infectious fluid so that it helps in faster resolution of infection..
You should also avoid picking of the ears frequently..
Avoid excessive water exposure to ears like swimming..

Hope this information helps..

Thanks and regards.
