Suggest Cure For A Lump Under The Arm

Hi

I have a small lump on my inner upper arm about 1 inch from my inner elbow. The lump is slightly sensitive to touch and I only noticed it a few days ago. There is no bruising in the area to suggest a knock. The lump does move as I can move it with my fingers. Hopefully nothing and just after a bit of advice on whether or not I should see a doctor.

Many thanks in advance for your help

General Surgeon 's  Response
hi.

it is best if you consult with a doctor, preferably a general surgeon, for medical and physical examination. based from your description, it could be a cyst (a sebaceous or a keratinous type), a fibroma or a lipoma. these lesions can occur anywhere in the body and have the tendency to recur. management (medical and surgical if indications are found and the lesion is bothersome for you alreeady) will be directed accordingly.

hope this helps.

good day!!
