Suggest Cure For A Bump Appearing On The Side Of The Neck

I am a 15 year old girl and have a small, inch long, about 1 cm. high bump on the left side of my neck, near my ear. I went to my doctor and they said it was a swollen lymph node due to some earlier infection. The doctor visit was about 2 months ago. My neck started to get sore when I moved it abruptly, so I went back about a month later, and she said the same thing, and that it would go away in a couple of months. The thing is, the bump keeps getting bigger by the day, and my whole neck feels stressed. Could you give me some guidance and information on this bump? Also, could you let me know if I should go back to the doctor. I know this may seem strange, but I wish I could just get an MRI to know for sure if it s cancer or not. Thank you.

Hi, dear.
I have gone through your question. I can understand your concern. You have enlarged lymphnode. Itcan be due to some early infection or tuberculosis or may be due to lymphoma. No need of mri. You should go for fine needle aspiration cytology to diagnose. Then you should take treatment accordingly.
Hope I have answered your question, if you have doubt then I will be happy to answer. Thanks for using health care magic. Wish you a very good health.
