Hi Welcome to HEALTHCARE MAGIC..

I have gone through your query and can understand your concern...

Your cholesterol level of 200 is borderline high & should be lowered. As your cholesterol level is slightly high, it could be lowered without intake of cholesterol lowering medications such as statins. Following remedies could be done :-
1. Decrease intake of fats by choosing baking, steaming or boiling type of cooking in foods. Fried foods should better be avoided.
2. Intake of trans fats such as partially hydrogenated fats or animal fats should be avoided.
3. Light regular exercise such as walking, cycling etc could be helpful in lowering cholesterol
4. Fibers in diet should be increased. Whole grains such as whole wheat, oats etc could be taken as they are good source of fibers.

If your cholesterol levels still remains high. Cholesterol lowering medicines could be taken in small dose.

Refer to a physician
Hope this information helps
