Suggest Cause For Salty Taste In Mouth With Chest Discomfort
Hi I am a 35 year old mother of a 2.5 year old. I have been experiencing salty taste in mouth and discomfort in my chest and back. I have a history of low back pain but have never experienced this. It's lasted for over a week now- there has been no change in my food habits. Please help
I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..
As per your complain salty taste in mouth can occur due to common reasons like reduced saliva flow causing dry mouth, allergic reaction to medication, gum and teeth infection with pus discharge that has a salty taste, post nasal drip etc.. You should consult an Oral Physician and get evaluated and treatment of the underlying cause of the problem can relieve the symptoms.. As of now you can chew sugarfree chewing gums, drink plenty of water and maintain a good oral hygiene.. Treatment of any prevailing oral infections can be helpful.
Hope this information helps..
Thanks and regards. Dr.Honey Nandwani Arora.
