Suggest Cause For Frequent Urination

I have recurrent UTIs and see a urologist. Started having frequent urination and burning about 4 days ago so started on an antibiotic. Today after urinating I noticed some tiny reddish black flakes in the toilet and pink on the tissue. Still with freq. urination and sharp pains. I am able to urinate without pain though. Could this be a stone?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,
Repeated urinary tract infections need to be investigated.
kindly consult a physician for an abdomino pelvic ultrasonographic scan. Also a KUB Xray shall be helpful in the diagnosis.

Kidly take the medications and complete course of antibiotics. Aurine culture and sensitivity may be needed to find out which antibiotics would be more helpful against the infection.
Kindly drink atleast 2.5 litres of water daily.
You can take Disodium Hydrogen Citrate syrup 15ml in a glass of water thrice daily to make the urine more alkaline.
Regards,
Dr.Riyanka
