Suggest Cause For Cramps & Bleeding After Intercourse

Hello, I need some help. I recently had unprotected sex a day ago but he did not ejaculate. Now today I had protected sex with a condom for about 15-20 minutes. About 3 hours later I was experiencing cramps and then I started to bleed. It was my period I know it is because it is not light or brownish colour and I m having menstruel cramps and feeling how I would when I m on my period. Could I be pregnant?

OBGYN 's  Response
Hello,

After the sex, the bleeding that has started can be due to the periods. This is not suggestive of pregnancy. Vigorous sex or an injury to the internal organs can also cause such bleeding.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Rakhi Tayal, OBGYN
