Suggest Cause And Remedy For Cramps In The Inner Thigh

i get very severe leg cramps in my inner thighs usually. Most of the time they happen in the middle of the night and wake me up with the pain so severe if brings me to tears. I find that if I take a vitamin and drink about 6 oz of gatorade it will go away within 10 minutes but i was wondering why I was getting these. I can t walk when I get these, these get worse.

Hi
Thank you for asking HCM
I have gone through your query. Changes in electrolytes and low vitamin D can cause such cramps. Excessive sweating also can cause decrease in electrolytes and eventually getting cramps. Checking for vitamin D levels and electrolytes in blood will be helpful to rule out this. Taking vitamin D supplements , taking milk , bananas , fruit juices etc will be helpful to prevent getting this.

Hope this may help you. Let me know if anything not clear.
Thanks.
