Csom is a chronic condition.Tympanoplasty sucess ranges from 90_94% depending upon expertise of surgeon.Pregnancy itself is an immunocompromised state, prone for infections.First step is to confirm what type of otitis externa has developed, like fungal/bacterial.If fungal you might require ear cleaning.Any way best is to consult ent to examine your ear and then start treatment.
