Hi,
Welcome to HCM.
Nothing to be scared about this. This boy would have acquired HIV through an infected blood transfusion anytime during his childhood from the neonatal to school going age.
This boy should not have been discriminated and not necessary to have any special measure. He can mingle with everybody in the family.
Only thing he has to attend for regular follow up and has to follow the guidelines of his physician regularly without any default in taking ART and life style modification. If he had any injury and has bleeding, then the family members have to take some precautions in handling such incident as per the guidance of his physician.
