1. since tight foreskin [phimosis] can also hinder urination, and actually stop penis from growing [pinhole], thus in best interest have full faith in your doctor and safely undergo the procedure
PS. majority of boys will have a retractile foreskin by 10 years of age and 95% by 16-17 years of age, but since long standing tight foreskin can cause balanitis which can cause the foreskin to adhere to the penis so that it cannot be pulled back, which would then require circumcision.
2. Since Medical history, Physical examination is already done, make sure to they go for Swab test to check for infection.
3. Circumcision is a surgical procedure to remove the foreskin and is a common treatment for many foreskin problems.
PS
before opting for surgery, simple method can be tried like:
i. apply 'oil' gently and regularly on the foreskin and daily retract the foreskin of penis, it will get better meanwhile. [Nirgundi Taila or Eladi coconut oil]

If it is done continuously for a period of 2 – 3 months, the foreskin will gain stretching capacity and can easily be reverted back completely.
ii. don't masturbate if you notice swelling, wait for the swelling to subside then indulge.
iii. Surgery procedure is minor, successful and harmless, and also protects against penile cancer and Urinary tract infection, only disadvantage being there will be less sensitivity of penis which may cause less pleasure.
PS. Remain under constant Supervision/Consultation of qualified General Surgeon for clinical evaluation and further treatment. If problem persists even after taking medicines he may need to get circumcised .
