Suggest An Extended Release Pain Relief Tablet For A Stage IV RCC Patient

I have stage IV RCC with mets to femur, thoracic spine and ribs. I am on 10 mg of oxycodone as needed. I take it 3 times a day. I only have one kidney now. IS there a pain medicine that would be safe for me but equally effective in pain relief but extended? I put off taking this when I need to drive to doctor visits. Is something out there that would minimize the pain and let me drive?

Thanks for asking at Healthcare Magic. I read your question and I understand your concern.
Tramadol is an opioid like drug although not opioid and has less sedation compared to opioids.
There are extended release forms of tramadol.
It has single dosage in the morning.
I would like to advise you to take it at the the time of drive with two glasses of water. if you were still feeling dizzy then wash your mouth and face with three glasses of water and then start to drive.
Hope you will be fine after that and I will help you best.
Take your best care.
