Hi Doctor, I had unprotected sex with my husband (6hrs ago) and i don t want to get pregnant. What should I do.? I m 24yrs old and had my last period started on 22nd Aug, Is there any chance of getting pregnant? Which medicine shall I take to avoid pregnancy.?

The chances of pregnancy have always been there with unprotected sex, so you may get pregnant.
To avoid it you can take I-Pill ( emergency contraceptive pill) within 72hrs. of unprotected sex.
Sooner is better, so take it as early as possible.
Do safe sex in future and use regular method of contraception.
