Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

There are lots of drugs other than beta-blockers that can work well for blood pressure. However, beta-blockers may be sometimes preferred. If you have problem with one beta-blockers you can use another which may better be tolerated, if still not, you can always talk to your doctor for change as there are many other options.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Mahboob Ur Rahman
