Suggest An Alternative Of Clobetasol Ointment

I have been using clobetasol ointment for 3 years to clear severe exzema/psoriasis on my hands. I changed insurance companies this year and they have denied coverage saying I need to trial 2 of the following amcinonide, Betamethasone Dipropionate, Desoximetasone, fluocinonide, Halcinonide, halobetasol or triamcinolone. General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Yeah, their mechanism of action is the same and belong to the same class of drugs so you can use them and get similar results as clobetasol.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Mohd Awais Ilyas, General & Family Physician
