Suggest Alternative For Laxatives

Hello My dad had a heart attack 2 yrs ago however since then he has not been able to do #2 normally so he started taking a laxative to help him go. is there some other recommendation that can be used since the laxative has lowered his potassium level severly

use fruit and vegetables, bananas sdomos, and reduce doses of laxative, to follow the values of electrolytes, and in particular sodium and potassium. The value of potassium is very important, and if other drugs use and consult with the cardiologist.
