Suggest Alternate Over The Counter Medication For Pristiq

I started taking Pristique 49 mg on 3/14/17 replacing Prozac which did not have good results for me. I started having crying jags . Sobbing for hours each day since . I have not had a day with out at least one sobbing session for about 1 month. I also started Wellbuttin on 4/4/17 and tirated up to 300 mg now. I also take two medications for BP. Any ideas???

Hello,

You were taking Prozac and it has been replaced with Pristiq. You have not mentioned your diagnosis or symptoms and you have also not mentioned why Prozac was replaced. However, you are not getting much help with Pristiq, so I suggest you to stop it. If you had good response with Prozac, continue the same. You can add Wellbutrin if required. Speak with your psychiatrist about this and get the opinion.
