Hello,

You need a detailed evaluation to rule out leukaemia. Bone marrow biopsy will help. Till then mild pain killers can provide the symptomatic relief.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Dr. Praveen Tayal,

My wife aged 40 is suffering from joint pain. Her thumb of right hand is badly affected and it is curved in side from centre. She has gone for orthopadics but of no gain. Now doctors have suggested her to meet a rheumatologist. Her blood reports, sugar tests, RA factor and x-rays are normal. She is suffering from this from last 3 years.

This is the top half as I have now got a sore tongue with just a flat red spot towards the read - quite sore. I also try to sleep with a c pap machine but only last until about 4 o clock then I just have to pull itoff.... Take high blood pressure tablets, water tablets, coXFLAM (15 mg) and two anti-depressants - welllbutrin 300 and depramil 40 mg. The rest are general aches and pains, knees and feet, cramps in calves and I have sacs in my intestines - I still have my appendix - had a hysterectomy long time ago so no longer take hormones, have had my gall bladder out as well and had my bladder put in a hammock but I still have to wee about 3 times of toilet and still want to wee more when I get up. sorry shall I just order my coffin now (also have stiff neck and the things between my spine are degenerating) I spend a lot of time in my bed just reading and holding my dogs - do go out occasionally and I still look after my two small grandsons....; good luck and happy hunting (PS lasst blood test showed cholestrol too high and blood sugar too high and some liver problem _ I am trying to overcome all these the diet lifestyle changes but still don t exercise much because very shaky (arms dead in the mornings) and knees just give in ..

Hello. I am 52 years old and in the beginning of menopause. For the last 6 - 8 months, when I am ovulating, I have a little blood mixed in the discharge. Also, my left leg and foot swells bad. I just had an ultra sound done on my leg to check for blood clots and it was fine, no clots. Is it a coincidence that this swelling seems to occur when I am ovulating? and should I worry about the little trace of blood?

I am a 58 year old women who has been in menopause for 4 years. I recently experienced bleeding that presented itself as A classic menstrual cycle including sore breasts. I was given an internal and internal ultra sound. I have been told that the lining of my uterus has thickened and that it sometimes happens but I have never heard of anyone post menopausal having this. Scheduled for ad & C next week but am afraid of cancer. I have been told 9 out of 10 times it is not cancerous. Thoughts
