Suggest A Suitable Diet Chart For A Diabetic Patient

I have been suffering from diabetis since 2008, although the level is normal . I used to take the drug JANUMET 50/500 twice daily as prescribed by the doctor. Recently i recovered from Jaundice (Hepatitis E). I lost 5kg body weight.kindly prescribe me asuitable diet chart so that I can recover from all these.

Hello thanx for using hcm,
You should take low carbohydrate, high protein, low fat diet.

Consume small easy digesting meals without spices rather than three big meals.
Choose whole grain cereals ,Stick to right portion and quantity.

Include healthy proteins like pulses and beans, fish, chicken without skin , any one serving in each meals. consume 2-3 servings of low fat milk products.

Eat plenty of vegetables and 2 -3 servings of whole fruits.

Avoid simple sugars, sweetened drinks, starches , sweets as it makes your sugars bad.
