Hi and welcome to HCM.
I'm Dr. Taimur and I will be addressing your health concerns.
I have read your question and understand your concern.
Some of medicines are usually given in all types of
nephrotic syndrome, like diuretics ( washes out extra fluids in urine) , Salt free albumin ( to restore the levels of
serum albumin), while some are patient to patient adjusted like use of supplemental potassium, low molecular weight heparin ( to prevent
thrombosis I.e formation of clots in blood vessels).
Steroids and immunosuppressive drugs like
methotrexate are the main stay of treatment but all the above should be prescribed by a consultant after thorough examination and investigations.
My recommendation to you is to get an appointment with a
nephrologist and let's see what does he recommends.
Meanwhile you should eat 2 eggs daily especially the white part and can use simple panadol 2 tablets three times a day.
I hope this might be of some help, if you have any query feel free to ask me any time.
Thanks.
Dr. Taimur
