Suggest A Remedy For Itchy, Sensitive And Dry Eye
I have one eye that constantly itches, is sensetive to bright light and wind and sometimes waters. I have been using Restasis for three weeks as well as OTC eye drops. My eye lid is very red and dry and the itching is mostly in the corner by my nose. I have also been using Fluticasone Propionate twice a day and take Allegra. Sometimes my sight is blurry and my eye actually feels swollen..usually first thing in the morning. Is this just dry eye or should I be conserend it s more than that. I am 65 years old and already tired of anything and everything that s wrong being blamed on aging. Thank you for any advise you can give me. Doris Inman ( YYYY@YYYY )

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have itchy, sensitive and dry eye . Well the symptoms you mention in query can occur due to may reasons like fluid retention due to changes in weather due to hormone levels or eating salty foods , not getting enough sleep , allergies or dermatitis or heredity . I would suggest you to lower your salt consumption , take proper sleep , drink plenty of water and ear healthy . Also take benadryl twice a day and avoid any cosmetic product for few days . If condition doesn't get better then consult ophthalmologist for proper examination . Doctor may prescribe immunusuppressants , coerticosteroid drops . For now take proper sleep and do not apply any cosmetic product on face .
