Hello!
I had gone through your query and understand your concern.
If you feel you are having flu/symptoms such as headache, stuffy nose, watery eyes fever than you can use non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs such as Ibuprofen or Paracetamol for symptomatic relief.
DayQuil is an analgesic, decongestant, and cough suppressant combination. It works by constricting blood vessels and reducing swelling in the nasal passages, which helps you breathe more easily.
So you can take this drug to relief your symptoms.
Benadryl is an antihistamine drug and it is used to treat sneezing; runny nose; itching, watery eyes; hives; rashes; itching; and other symptoms of allergies and the common cold.If you have this symptoms you can take it.

You also need rest, eat healthy food mostly green vegetables and drink plenty of fluids.
You will feel better day after day.
If the symptoms get worse or last to long(more than 1-2 weeks) you should consult a physician for further diagnosis and treatment.

Wish you quick and complete recovery.
Take care.
